Christmas Success!

After 4 Christmas's over a 3 day span I'd say we all got what was on our lists! We started on Christmas Eve at the Schei's for the Boe Family Christmas where my camera's batteries died. So no pictures. :( Then it was Christmas morning at our house where our parents, Grandpa Tom, and my brother and sister-in-law came over for breakfast.

Later that day we were off to the in-laws for a wonderful dinner. We were so excited to get there cause Auntie Mare Mare was home!

The next morning it was off to my parents house for Christmas with my brother and his wife for breakfast and presents and more importantly, my Kindle Fire! I love it!

We all had a great Christmas with lots of great presents and fun family time! Can't wait till next year!

Oh Christmas Tree

Big Christmas tree family outing this morning! It was freezing but sunny and we got some good ones. We also wanted to get some good family photos. It started off great.................

Seriously?! Oh well. The real reason we were there anyways was for this.....

Happy Birthday!

Why is my mom the strongest person I know? Because 31 years ago she labored for twenty-three hours before pushing out a 9 lb. 10oz baby girl (with no drugs!), ME! Ouch. Sorry Mom. So yes, today is my birthday and I am 31 years old. The festivities started yesterday with my cousin Camie and her two girls and my cousin Joey coming up and spending the entire day with us. We started at the Children's Museum......

Then we picked Carter up from school and went out to eat. (where the battery died in my camera) After lunch it was back to our house for naps before more family showed up. My mom, brother and sister-in-law came over for dinner, cake, and so good old family time. It was so much fun! I can't remember the last time we (Camie, Joey, Brian, & I) were all together. Took me back to the good old days. :)

Such a fun day yesterday! As for today.......it started out a little rocky with a dr.'s appt. for Bella, who has another ear infection. Darn. And then we did a little grocery shopping. Nothing spectacular yet. But the day's not over yet!

Nice Long Weekend

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend! Ours was pretty good. Andy was off and home the majority of the weekend so that was nice until I saw this

For those of you that are confused let me fill you in on the cycle of my husband.......It starts with working a gazillion hours everyday for awhile then it goes to "me time" (solo activities of surfing, snowboarding, and/or vacations by himself (in case you didn't see the solo part)) and then to a project that takes months to finish but looks really nice

(and always end with a "I am never doing another project again") and then the cycle starts over. So even though it will probably turn out wonderful, I was a little disappointed when I saw the supplies. Carter got to have a camp out at Grandma Sally's and Bella got some one on one Mommy Time.

Then the next morning we picked Carter up and had lunch with them and I got an early birthday present....new slippers!

Thanksgiving Fun

This year for Thanksgiving we were at my parents house along with my brother and sister-in-law, grandparents (dad's parents & mom's dad) and the Schei's (my dad's sister and her family). We had so much fun and the kids got a lot of Auntie/Uncle/Cousin/Nana/Bampa Time! I love my Family!
